Senator Saliu Mustapha launches four-day medical outreach in Kwara Central

Senator Saliu Mustapha, the Turaki of Ilorin and representative of Kwara Central in the National Assembly, is set to provide essential healthcare services to his constituents through a four-day medical outreach. The initiative, organized in partnership with the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital Budo-Egba, will begin on Sunday and offer free consultations, treatments, and long-term medication for individuals with chronic illnesses across the senatorial district.

The outreach will kick off at Oke-Oyi Main Market in Ilorin East Local Government Area at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 13, 2024.

According to a statement by Senator Mustapha’s media assistant, Nasif Sholagberu, the program aims to improve healthcare access for residents of Kwara Central.

The second day of the outreach, Monday, October 14, will take place at the Alangua Tanke Compound in Ilorin South, where medical professionals will attend to patients. On Tuesday, October 15, the team will move to the Emir’s Palace in Ilorin West, before concluding the program on Wednesday, October 16, at the Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital in Budo-Egba, Asa LGA.

Senator Mustapha emphasized that the initiative is designed to ensure the health and well-being of his constituents, allowing them to fully benefit from the dividends of democracy. He encouraged residents of Kwara Central to take advantage of the free healthcare services, reaffirming his dedication to projects that improve the quality of life in the district.
