Igbomina Day: Senator Saliu Mustapha Donates N10M, Sienna Bus
Senator Saliu Mustapha, representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, has donated a sum of N10 million Naira and a sienna bus at the 2024 Igbomina Day celebration.
The event, held today, in Iludun-Oro, Irepodun Local Government Area, Kwara State, aims to raise N500 million for the construction of a modern Igbomina Plaza in Ganmo and the upgrade of Igbomina Community Radio.
Represented by Chief Isaac Adeyemi Gbenle, a chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Senator Mustapha, commended the organizers of the 2024 Igbomina Day for their commitment to promoting the rich heritage and progress of the Igbomina people.
He lauded their efforts in bringing the community together for such a noble cause and encouraged continued collaboration to ensure the success of the Igbomina Plaza and radio station projects.
Senator Mustapha noted that projects like the Igbomina Plaza and the upgraded community radio station would not only serve as symbols of Igbomina identity but would also boost economic activity and enhance communication across the region.
The lawmaker reaffirmed his commitment to the growth and development of Kwara communities.
The Igbomina Day celebration brought together notable personalities, traditional rulers, and community leaders who commended Senator Mustapha’s continuous support and efforts in developing Kwara State.
