Excitement, commendations as Saliu Mustapha concludes training for artisans, market women ahead of empowerment Programme

The comprehensive training program facilitated by Senator Saliu Mustapha for 920 artisans and market women in the Kwara Central Senatorial District has successfully concluded.

The first phase of the training which was held on Thursday, focused on educating artisans about the effective use of tools and resources to ensure sustainable business growth.

Senator Saliu Mustapha, who was represented at today’s event by the Director-General of the Saliu Mustapha Foundation, Alhaji Ambali Shuaib, said that the initiative aims to equip participants with essential skills and tools to foster self-reliance and entrepreneurship within the community.

He noted that beyond the training, the participants would receive start-up capital and vital working tools at an empowerment program scheduled to take place in the coming weeks.

In her remark, the Iyaloja General of Kwara State, Alhaja Muibat Olumo, ably represented by Alhaja Lateefat Ajanaku, commended Senator Saliu Mustapha for prioritizing women’s inclusiveness and empowerment.

She prayed to God Almighty to continue to guide and guard him as he continues to provide effective representation to the people of Kwara Central.

The participants, who were visibly enthusiastic, praised the senator for the initiative. They noted that the training had equipped them with valuable skills that would enable them to better manage their businesses and improve their livelihoods.
