Kwara LG Election: 5 parties declare interest.

The Kwara state Independent Electoral Commission (KWSIEC) has announced that five political parties hav been cleared to contest the upcoming Local Government elections scheduled for September 21 in Kwara state.

According to the report, KWASIEC has also confirmed and released candidates of each party for the polls.

KWSIEC has officially published the list of candidates vying for Chairmanship and Councillorship positions at its Ilorin headquarters, thereby confirming the participation of five political parties in the upcoming election.

According to the list, the parties include: Accord Party (AP) Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Social Democratic Party (SDP) Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC)

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), alongside other participating political parties, has urged the Kwara State Electoral Commission to ensure a free, fair, and transparent electoral process in the upcoming elections.
