Sen Mustapha Felicitates New Ardo Fulani of Kwara
The lawmaker representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has congratulated Alhaji Adamu Ojonla Mahmud on his turbaning as the new Ardo Fulani of Kwara State.
Senator Mustapha, the Turaki of Ilorin, described Alhaji Mahmud’s appointment as a recognition of his effort towards the development of Fulani community and his leadership qualities.
He commended the Emir of Ilorin, HRH Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari (CFR), for his choice of title and expressed confidence that the new Ardo will continue to strengthen unity, peaceful coexistence and development within and beyond the Fulani community in Kwara State.
The lawmaker, who reiterated his commitment to initiatives that promote inclusivity and cultural preservation, urged the new Ardo Fulani to prioritize the welfare of his people and work towards strengthening the bonds of harmony and understanding between the Fulani and other ethnic groups in the state.
He prayed for wisdom, guidance and strength for the new Ardo Fulani in carrying out his responsibilities and urged the Fulani community to rally around their new leader.
