Senator Saliu Mustapha’s skills acquisition initiative: Accreditation and training for eligible participants.

Senator Saliu Mustapha, The Turaki of Ilorin Emirate, Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, on Thursday 29TH of August 2024, has launched an initiative tagged Entrepreneurship Training and Provision of Grants and Empowerment,’ designed to empower unemployed youth, Artisans and market women in his constituency, providing them with the tools and resources necessary to break the cycle of poverty and improve their economic prospects.


The program commences with the accreditation of participants, followed by an intensive training session, where they will learn how to effectively utilize the equipment they will receive upon completion of the program.

Mallam Nasir Abdquadri lectured the beneficiaries, emphasizing the importance of an entrepreneurial mindset as the core focus of the training. He stressed that understanding how to effectively utilize resources, invest wisely, and cultivate wealth is crucial. He encouraged them to adopt a producer or creator mindset, stating that success in life’s endeavors requires generating value. He assured the beneficiaries that the constituency’s support will empower them to become self-sufficient wealth creators and develop a deeper understanding of the world’s dynamics.

Alhaji Ambaly Adebayo, DG Saliu Mustapha foundation, also urged the beneficiaries to make proper use of the equipment given to them and for no reason not to sell the equipment as it will be of great help to them in future to come.

This achievement marks a significant milestone in Senator Saliu Mustapha’s efforts to enhance the well-being of his constituents, particularly the youth, by providing them with essential equipment and training. This initiative aims to empower and support them in their daily endeavors, enabling them to reach new heights and improve their overall quality of life.
