COREN Kwara inspects Ilorin Road project.

On Wednesday, the Kwara state chapter of COREN’s STC-ERM team conducted a site inspection of two ongoing projects in Ilorin: The Mayowa-Gboyinde-Fate Road construction and the visa church building on pipeline road.

Engr. Kamil Olalekan led the inspection team to the site. While conducting the inspection on COZA Church construction site, Engr. Olalekan instructed an immediate stop to construction until necessary town planning permits are secured. Additionally, he stressed the crucial need to authenticate the qualifications of engineers managing the project.

The inspection team meanwhile gives their full satisfaction to the incredible progress made so far while also inspecting the Mayowa-Gboyinde-Fate Road.

He also encouraged the contractor to maintain their current progress and fast-track the work to beat the rainy season deadline

Engr. Olalekan used the opportunity to appreciate the Kwara state Government for the work done so far on all the roads project and also implored the community to do away from dumping refuse into the drainage which can cause a major block to the flow of water and hamper the progress of the project as well.
