Senator Mustapha Applauds Ojulari’s appointment as NNPCL GCEO

The lawmaker representing Kwara Central in the National Assembly, Senator Saliu Mustapha, has applauded the appointment of Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari as the new Group Chief Executive Officer (GCEO) of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL).

The Senator commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as “a strategic and commendable decision,” particularly for appointing a seasoned professional of Kwara origin to lead the country’s foremost energy company.

Senator Mustapha expressed confidence in Engr. Ojulari’s capacity to bring transformative leadership to the NNPCL, citing his decades of experience in the petroleum industry both locally and internationally.

“I congratulate Engr. Bashir Bayo Ojulari on this remarkable appointment. It is a well-deserved recognition of his competence, dedication, and contributions to Nigeria’s oil sector. As a proud son of Kwara, I am confident he will make the state and the entire country proud,” the Senator said.

The lawmaker prayed to Allah to grant the newly appointed GCEO more wisdom, good health and courage as he assumes his new office.
